B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft is a leading provider of civil engineering solutions on the basis of CAD in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Engineering offices, planning- and surveying offices, city administrations, civil engineering departments, construction companies and industrial companies are among out clients. The roots in the engineering office are still crucial and mark the programs. HISTORY OF THE COMPANY FROM 1989 TILL THIS DAY (click to open)

1989 | Foundation of B&B engineering

The Graduate Engineer Achim Bäuerle and the Graduate Engineer (FH) Wolfgang Burgert founded in the year 1989 the company B&B engineering with the development of civil engineering- /planning programs on the basis of CAD and now look back on more than 35 years of successful history of the company. Over the following years the medium-size company, placed in the Black Forest, has grown continuously: 15 employees, predominantly construction experts, (geo-) computer scientists, geographers and surveying engineers are employed by B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft.

1992 | Corporate name to B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft

Three years later, in 1992, the B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft was founded. The product portfolio is expanded constantly during the following years. The software BBSoft® is developed for nine application areas, which cover almost the complete civil engineering area: cadastre, surveying, DTM, road planning, sanitary and environmental engineering, water planning, urban planning, calculation of quantities and GIS. The software is programmed with the aid of the newest development technologies based on AutoCAD®, BricsCAD® and Oracle®. Complete in-house developments, an excellent service, customer service and expertise on site as well as extensive services like training, installation and support, facilitate for you or rather for our clients not only the first steps with our software, but direct towards a customer-focused and sustainable assistance.

1995 | Move to the new rooms at Raiffeisenstraße

Because of the continuous growth more space is needed for development, sales and services (e.g. trainings). B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft moves with his staff to the new rooms in the Raiffeisenstraße 40 at 78166 Donaueschingen.

1999 | Autodesk Partner

B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft has sold Autodesk® software since its foundation in 1989/1992 . For the first time in 1999, the company received the official authorization for the sale of Autodesk® software with the product focus architecture, engineering and construction, and was also Authorized Autodesk® Developer. Today, we are a long-time and experienced Autodesk® Reseller Partner and offer Autodesk® products across all industries.

2008 | Dual partner of the DHBW

B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft is a recognized Chamber of Industry and Commerce-training company and is since 2008 for the degree course of "Applied Computer Science" an authorized trainer as a partner of the DHBW Stuttgart. In cooperation with our partners we offer adolescents and young adults a qualified education and we therefore take over economical and social responsibility.

2011 | Acquisition of the new training facility

To meet the demands of our clients we have established a new in-house training facility. The service offer of the trainings was expanded, depending on the new rooms, about the area of the scheduled group-training. Special trainings, like individual-or project-related trainings, can be efficiently conducted in the new rooms, with a modern EDV-configuration and for you not expensive.

2018 | BBSoft still on a growth course

B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft has taken a further step towards the future of the company. Spatially we have nearly duplicated with the occupation of further office premises in the second floor. The personell is also supposed to be raised continuously. The additional office premises at the present principal office display reliability and continuity, also in relation to our location in the Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis.

2021 | Cooperation with below software

B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH and below software GmbH from Flörsheim (Main-Taunus-district) went into a strategic cooperation. Both companies connect their responsibilities and organization across locations from the 1. January 2021 on. Substantially affected are: services related to software, trainings and services in the area of infrastructure management with focus on civil engineering. Therewith the companies extend their successfull cooperation, which already exists since 2009.

2023 | Personnel changes in the management

In order to maintain our consistency and reliability over the coming years, there have been some personnel changes in the management this year:

After 34 years Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Burgert was bid a well-deserved farewell into retirement. He served as the Managing Director and co-founder of B&B Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH.
Mr. Markus Gorny has been appointed as a manager with procuration. He will now assume the personnel and the sales management responsibilities.
Our long-time employee, Mrs. Gesche Dorer, is now the Assistant to the Management.
Since October of last year Mr. Andreas Bäuerle has been an integral part of our development team. With up-to-date expertise, fresh ideas and a lot of innovation he enriches our company.
